Shreveport police are looking for information on a shooting early this morning that left a man wounded.

The man, identified as 20-year-old Rayvion Alford, was taken to Willis-Knighton North after he suffered several gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Preliminary information gathered by detectives suggests Alford was shot while riding in a vehicle driven by an acquaintance of his. Another vehicle, described as a dark-colored pick-up truck, pulled alongside the two and someone inside began firing. Alford is expected to recover from his wounds.
