Shreveport Man Killed in Shooting

A shooting late last night leaves a Shreveport man dead. At about 11 o’clock, Shreveport police were called out to a reported shooting in the 3100 block of Lillian. There, they found a man unresponsive and suffering gunshot wounds. He was taken to LSU Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Detectives say earlier in the evening, the victim showed up at another residence in the same block of Lillian, where a verbal argument between two females was going on. 36-year-old Everett Wills arrived and confronted the victim, then pulled a handgun and fatally shot the man. Wills was later located at his residence and arrested without incident. He’s been charged with second-degree murder.
