Shreveport Man Jailed for Burglarizing Business Where He Worked

A man wanted in a weekend burglary in Shreveport has been tracked down. Police say 28-year-old Christopher Geter was wanted for burglarizing a business in the 300 block of Forest Avenue over the weekend, taking a television and a .22 caliber rifle. Witnesses told police that they’d seen Geter with the business owner earlier in the day…in fact, Geter was an employee there. He’s been charged with simple burglary. The rifle has been returned to the owner.
