You read the headline right.  This story blows my mind, but it isn't all that uncommon.  I have seen many stories of folks racking up multiple charges that involve driving while intoxicated - but 4 is about the highest I have ever seen!

The mugshot above features Dennis Ray Davis, who is currently being held at the Caddo Correctional Center.  According to the Shreveport Times - he was convicted on his 4th DWI charge yesterday in a Caddo District Court that might as well be named after him at this point.  The latest court appearance stems from a May 2016 arrest - but this guy has a grand slam situation going on here!  The bases were already loaded with his prior DWI convictions - 1 in 2012 and 2 in 2014.  To top it all off, Mr. Davis has a basket full of other convictions ranging from traffic violations all the way up to battery and possession of cocaine.

Davis represented himself in court and was sentenced to 30 years in prison, at least 2 of which will be served without the possibility of parole.  He will also have to cough up a $5,000 fine.
