Shreveport Man Dies In North Caddo Parish Farm Accident

A Shreveport man dies in a farm accident in north Caddo Parish.

Police say 33-year-old Ross Lynn was helping an electrician replace a motor on a silo at the Gilliam Elevator, when a tensioner broke. Lynn got tangled in the equipment.

Witnesses say Lynn hit his head on a catwalk, but no official cause of death has been released. Lynn was at the top of the silo, which was between 80 and 100 feet high. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
