Shreveport Man Convicted of Murder

A Caddo District Court jury deliberated about two hours this afternoon before finding 38-year-old Everett Wills, Junior, guilty of second-degree murder for the April, 2011, shooting death of Carlos Guster.  That happened in the 3100 block of Lillian St.  Second-degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence.  Judge Ramona Emanuel has ordered Wills to return to court next Wednesday.  A sentencing date could be set at that time.
