A Shreveport man's been arrested for allegedly distributing child pornography.

A multi-agency task  force executed a search warrant at the residence of 21-year-old John Foster.  Inside, they found child porn plus marijuana and a handgun.  Foster was arrested and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on 50 counts of possessing child pornography and one count each of distributing child porn, simple marijuana possession, and possessing a handgun while also possessing marijuana.  If convicted, he could be fined up to two-and-a-half million dollars and sentenced to anywhere from 250 to 1000 years in prison.

The investigation involved the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, the Shreveport Police Department, and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.  It was part of an ongoing investigation called Operation Child Watch which targets people involved in child pornography.
