Shreveport Man Arrested for Sexually Assaulting Teenage Girl

A local man has been arrested following an ongoing investigation by Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Detectives.

Police say 60-year-old Robert Smith of Shreveport allegedly exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl. While detectives were gathering information on that incident, they learned Smith also exposed himself to a 15-year-old female and sexually assaulted her. He’s also accused of exposing himself to two adult females.

Detectives were able to get a warrant for Smith’s arrest. He was interviewed at police headquarters this afternoon, then transported to the Shreveport City Jail. He’s charged with one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of molesting a juvenile.
