A suspect is in custody for an early-morning domestic disturbance during which shots were fired. There's not much information so far, but we do know that police got a call just before 6 o'clock this morning about shots being fired at Del Rio and Jewella in Shreveport.

Police Corporal Marcus Hines tells KEEL News the man refused to come out of a home there, but finally surrendered. Investigators are trying to determine exactly what charges he'll face. His name hasn't been released yet.

No word on whether anyone was actually hit by a bullet during the dispute. The area will remain shut down until police have wrapped up their investigation.
