After being on the run for more than a month, Shreveport police have caught up with the man they believe is responsible for a shooting left two Shreveport men wounded.

On December 17th, a shooting was reported in the 2500 block of Drexel Drive. That's where police found 20-year-old Damien Dallas and 26-year-old Kevin Hopper both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Since the shooting, detectives were able to develop 28-year-old Justin Barr of Shreveport as a suspect. Police got a warrant for his arrest early this month, charging him with attempted first-degree murder.

At around 8 o'clock last night, agents from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located Barr at a home in the 4900 block of Broadway Avenue in Shreveport. He was booked into Caddo Correctional Center, where his bond is set at $150,000.
