A shots fired call has led Shreveport police to arrest a local man.  It all started about 1:30 this afternoon when police received a call that several shots had been fired in the 200 block of West 80th Street.  When officers arrived, they learned that nobody had been shot but witnesses identified 28-year-old Kenneth Wayne Robinson as the man who had fired five or six shots during a dispute with some people he knew and then ran away.

Police, immediately, started scouring the neighborhood and it wasn't long before they found Robinson at a house in the 8000 block of St. Vincent Avenue and took him into custody without incident.  They also found the handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.

After interviewing him, detectives booked Robinson into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.  He was also booked on six unrelated misdemeanor warrants for various other offenses.
