Shreveport Kids “Shop with a Cop”

East Texas has done it...Bossier City has done it...it's Shreveport's turn! The E.G. Huckabay Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #3 and members of the Shreveport Police Department are hosting "Shop with a Cop" tonight, as part of their commitment to bring some Christmas spirit to those who are less fortunate. Police Chief Willie Shaw will join officers and FOP members at 5:30 this evening at the Walmart in the 9500 block of Mansfield Road, where they'll help make the holiday season brighter for 19 local children. The kids were nominated for the program by officers who have seen a need, and each child gets $100 to buy themselves a few Christmas gifts.
