When a Sportran bus stopped at Martin Luther King Drive and Legardy, Shreveport police detectives were waiting for it. When 47-year-old Michael Harris stepped off that bus, they arrested him in connection with home invasions in the 1300 block of Easy Street and the 300 block of Bellmead Street. Just hours earlier, detectives had optained a warrant for Harris's arrest after it was learned that several items taken in those two home invasions had been discovered pawned by Harris at local pawn shops. He's now been booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of aggravated burglary, home invasion. His bond has been set at one-million dollars. Detectives say they may be able to tie him to other cases as well.
