Shreveport Firefighter Arrested for Trying to Strangle His Wife
Shreveport police have arrested 34-year-old Traotis Robinson on a charge of domestic abuse battery.
Robinson is accused of going to his estranged wife’s residence, entering without her permission and trying to strangle her.
Robinson, who’s been a Shreveport firefighter for the past seven years, was interviewed by detectives and then booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
Fire Chief Craig Mulford has placed Robinson on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation into alleged policy violations.
