Louisiana State Police have arrested a Shreveport firefighter after he allegedly tried to set up a meeting with a 13-year-old girl and her mother to have sex with both.

Trooper Matt Harris told Louisiana Radio Network that 35-year-old Brian Garza was on duty when he chatted with the girl and arranged to meet her. What he didn't know is that the 'girl' was actually an LSP agent. Harris says when Garze showed up at the meeting, troopers were waiting to arrest him.

Garza is charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile, prostitution, and computer-aided solicitation of a minor. If he is convicted, he could spend up to 70 years in prison and be fined as much as $75,000.

Shreveport Fire Chief Scott Wolverton has placed Garza on paid administrative leave while the allegations are investigated.
