Shreveport Drug Suspects Plead Guilty

Three men who were scheduled for trial this week in Caddo District Court on drug charges have entered guilty pleas to avoid trial. 35-year-old Waco Collins has pled guilty to possessing more than 400 grams of cocaine, distributing cocaine, and conspiring to distribute cocaine. He’s to be back in court November 26th and could be looking at as much as 75 years behind bars when he’s sentenced. 31-year-old Jamie Dodson and 48-year-old Dwight Lowery could get as much as 30 years each when they’re sentenced next month. Dodson has pled guilty to possessing over 400 grams of cocaine — Lowry’s pled guilty to possessing over 28 grams of cocaine.
