Shreveport Dog Park Alliance Hosts Victory Celebration

The Shreveport Dog Park Alliance held a private victory celebration now that the dog park legal feud is over.

About 25 people attended the dog park victory celebration "Bubbles & Bites at Blue." Cynthia Keith told the group she met with SPAR and has learned bids will be going out for an architectural design firm. She says the design should be complete this summer. At that point, the city will hire a contractor to build the park.

Keith says ground should be broken at the Stoner Avenue site this fall, but that the park wont be complete until spring of 2015.
