The fundraiser is called "Wine & Whine, a Dog Park Art Affair."  Shreveport Dog Park Alliance head Cynthia Keith tells KEEL News there's a special piece of art being sold at the event, created by someone locals know very well...Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator...

Signed, numbered editions of Prator's painting will be available for $30 each.

Keith says the fundraiser is Saturday, September 22nd, from 4-7 p.m. at the Karpeles Museum at 3201 Centenary Boulevard.  Cost to get in is $15, and comes with one glass of wine or lemonade, breads and spreads.  Musical duo Sid Crump & Leonard Service will be the featured musical act.

In addition to all that, you can find special selections by Shreveport-based LA Society of Animal Artists, and Locals Love Us will be presenting a $1,000 check to the Alliance at 5 that evening.

Dogs are welcome!
