Shreveport Businessmen Plead Guilty to Federal Charges

76-year-old William Boyter, 51-year-old Michael Boyter, and 49-year-old Anthony Riley have pled guilty in Shreveport Federal Court to charges of conspiracy, money laundering, tax evasion, failure to comply with federal banking regulations, and wire fraud.  

Also charged as defendants in the case are two businesses operated by the three -- Mike's Auto Sales and A-1 Auto Finance Company.  As part of their plea, the three have agreed to forfeit those businesses as well as a $1.3-million money judgement.  All three are scheduled for sentencing in January and could be facing prison time, fines, and supervised release.
