Tomorrow marks the 11th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, and a number of events are planned locally in remembrance.   Governor Bobby Jindal has ordered state and federal flags to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset today at the Capitol and all State buildings. Flags will also be at half-staff at all Shreveport fire stations. Fire Chief Craig Mulford has ordered each of the city's fire stations to roll out all fire department apparatus in the morning and each fire fighter to stand at attention outside each station while observing a symbolic moment of silence starting at 8:59 am -- the time the first tower collapsed.

In Bossier City, the yearly memorial ceremony starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Liberty Garden at the Bossier Municipal Complex. The event will feature remarks by Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker and Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington with a keynote address by State Representative Henry Burns.
