The Shreve Memorial Library is holding FREE financial education seminars to help people manage their personal finances. The classes will be held during Money Smart Week, April 23 - 30, 2016.

Money Smart Week® is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. Shreve Memorial Library is hosting three seminars. Representatives with Ouachita Independent Bank will present Tips for Saving and Budgeting on Tuesday, April 26 at Hamilton South Caddo Branch at 2:00 pm. On Thursday, April 28 at 2:00 pm representatives of Shreveport Federal Credit Union will present Money Matter at Cedar Grove-Line Avenue, and again, at 3:00pm at Hollywood/Union Avenue Branch.

“Our Credit Union is committed to working to improve the financial literacy of the communities we serve. We look for opportunities like these to partner with organizations to expand,” said Helen Godfrey, President and CEO of Shreveport Federal Credit Union.
