You may soon be able to enjoy a brew when you go to the movies in Louisiana. State Sen. J.P. Morrell (D-New Orleans) has introduced legislation to allow the sale of beer in Louisiana movie theaters.

While some see the prospect of ordering their favorite beer while enjoying a movie as plus, others are worried that drunk patrons could be a disturbance in the theater.

Between the beer drinkers, people texting and conversing on their cell phones and the ever-present loud talkers, could the position of theater usher soon require a firearm in the state of Louisiana?
