Vaccinations will be offered at the following sites in Bossier:

Sheriff's Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport -- Friday, March 18 from 3-8 p.m.

Tetanus shots aren't necessary if you've had one within the past 10 years. First responders and those helping with clean-up can also get vaccinated.

In addition, FEMA disaster assistance teams have begun surveying Bossier Parish neighborhoods that have been damaged by flood waters. They're starting with the town of Haughton, Tall Timbers, Golden Meadows and Pecan Valley Mobile Home Park. As water recedes in south Bossier and the Lake Bistineau region, teams will move into those areas.
