Shooting on Regent Leaves Local Man With Buttocks Wound

A local man will have a difficult time sitting for a while...after he was shot late last night. 21-year-old Jarvis Moore has told Shreveport police that he was walking in the 2500 block of Regent Street at around 10:45 last night, when he heard several gunshots. That's when he realized he'd been shot...in the buttocks.

He says he didn't see who fired the shots or where they came from, but he was able to give investigators the name of the person he thought it might be. Detectives are following up on that lead. Meantime, Moore is recovering at LSU Hospital.
