Shooting on Devaughn Street Leaves Three-Year-Old Girl Wounded

Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that left a three-year-old girl seriously wounded.

Officers were called to University Health after learning that a little girl arrived in the hosiptal's emergency room. She'd suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

The child's parents told police their daughter was shot by an unknown intruder who came into their home in the 2700 block of Devaughn Street. The child remains in critical condition.

Crime Scene Investigators are working to determine exactly what happened and who is responsible.
