Sex Offender Law Problem

Supporters will push forward, but there could be problems.

Legislation to prohibit some sex offenders from using Facebook and other social media sites ran into problems in a House committee. Concerns were brought up about enforcement and the potential impact of the proposal. State Police Superintendent, Colonel Mike Edmonson, says this legislation gives them another tool in their efforts to crack down on child predators.

The bill is expected to come up before the committee again next week.
