[UPDATE]  One of the projects listed below has been postponed, likely due to this morning's wet weather.  I-49 North in DeSoto Parish will be down to one lane of traffic between Mile Marker 172 and 173 for roadway maintenance starting tomorrow.  We haven't heard about changes in any of the other planned work.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced several road projects that will kick off at the beginning of next week.

Monday, January 13th, northbound I-49 will be down to one lane of traffic between Mile Marker 172 and 173 for roadway maintenance.  That work should be complete in one day.

The 3132 E offramp to I-49 will be closed during the overnight hours beginning Monday.  Traffic can detour onto Ellerbe Road.  The 3132 E onramp from Linwood will also be closed.  Work will be done between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly through Thursday, January 16th.

Next Tuesday, January 14th, there will be intermittent ramp and lane closures on I-20 between Industrial Drive and Old Minden Road in Bossier City.  Road maintenance in that area is expected to last about two weeks.

And from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the right outside lane of Airline Drive, just north of the intersection of Shed Road, will be closed for drainage structure repair.  Vehicles 12 feet wide or smaller can pass through the construction zone, but larger ones need to detour via Benton Road, to I-220, to Airline.

All this work will be done weather permitting.
