Several Fundraisers Coming Up for Yogie & Friends

Yogie and Friends Exotic Cat Sanctuary has several events coming up that you'll want to be a part of.

The first one is tomorrow, December 17th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It's Burger Night for Yogie and Friends at Blue Southern Comfort Foods on Louisiana Avenue. That's across from the old Doctor's Hospital and near Monjuni's.

Next up is the Christmas Bake sale. That's going on Saturday, December 21st, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Petco on Youree Drive in Shreveport. New items, like Grumpy Cat and Hump DAAAAAY! t-shirts will be available for sale this time around. This sale helps the sanctuary get through some of the winter bills.

There's also a gift shop set up at the Greenwood Flea Market. Just take Exit 5 off of I-20 near the American Rose Center. Great items are available to help you with your holiday shopping.

And there's a huge New Year's Eve party and fundraiser set for December 31st into January 1st at The Boot in downtown Shreveport. It features free champagne all night long, karaoke from 10 p.m. - 4 a.m., and a chance for you to enter to win a brand new Jager machine. Proceeds from the raffle go to benefit Yogie and friends, along with a portion of the $5 cover charge.
