After 5 years, a settlement has been reached in the wrongful death lawsuit related to the kidnapping and murder of Justin Bloxom. Bloxom's mother, Amy Fletcher, was seeking 10 million dollars in damages from Action Taxi owner David Mcfarlin, his company and her son's killer Brian Horn.

The lawsuit said Mcfarlin was negligent in his employment of Horn because he was aware of Horn's prior conviction and that he was registered as a sex offender. Details of the settlement are still coming out, but some of the requirements is for Mcfarlin to apologize in open court. The company will also change their name and color of their cabs.

Horn was convicted of Bloxom's murder in 2014 and sentenced to death by lethal injection.
