Thursdays and Fridays are fun-filled and information-packed at the Randle T. Moore Center. Caddo Council on Aging Executive Director Mary Alice Rountree says tomorrow morning at 10, the Master Gardeners will give a presentation on what types of flowers you can plant to attract butterflies.

But the real gem, she says, is Senior Tech Talk at 11 every Friday morning. "We just learn all kinds of new little tricks with all of our devices," Rountree says. "We think this is so important for our seniors to learn this technology. We can learn it in a really safe manner, and no question is too stupid."

Rountree says after the first one of its kind, Senior Tech Talk really took off, and she's getting a lot of positive feedback from attendees. She says elderly residents are wanting to communicate better with their grandkids, who are becoming more technologically-advanced every day.

Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation offers up the center to seniors free of charge twice a week, to give local seniors a place to go for these CCOA programs. Here's a look at the March schedule of events.
