The Louisiana Senate race in Louisiana is beginning to get nasty.

A political action committee, called the Louisiana Water Coalition, released a television commercial reminding voters of David Vitter’s 2007 prostitution scandal. Political Analyst Bernie Pinsonat says this ad won’t impact Vitter’s chances of making the runoff and it’s going to take more than this to stop him. He says these commercials need to come up with new information for it to really have any impact.

Vitter tells KEEL News these ads are funded primarily by a trial lawyers group and he's not surprised they are getting negative right away.
