Louisiana's junior Senator tells KEEL listeners that Scalise, the House Majority Whip, travels with a security detail, which many have previously.criticized as "a waste of money."

Kennedy also says that events like the Kathy Griffin mock beheading of President Trump and like events are contributing to an atmosphere of violence and "so much hate", which has even had an effect on his day-to-day living.
