Second Person Dies in Mooringsport Beatings, More Charges Filed

The second victim of a deadly domestic dispute this past weekend has been taken off life support. Caddo Sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Chadwick says Leslie Moss died a little after 4 o'clock this morning as the result of injuries from a beating on August 12th.

Moss was beaten with the same shotgun Roderick Scott used to kill Stuart Myers in a home in Mooringsport on Sunday.

The violence escalated after an argument, according to police.
Scott had already been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree battery.

Detective Terry Richardson added another count of second-degree murder to the charges this morning. Scott remains in the Caddo Correctional Center.
