Second Arrest Made in Fatal Shreveport Shooting

A Crime Stoppers tip leads to a second suspect in a deadly May shooting in Shreveport.

Investigators arrested 22-year-old Rodrick Hicks following a traffic stop last evening. He was taken to Shreveport Police headquarters to be interviewed by detectives, then charged with illegal use of a weapon.

On June 1, 21-year-old Lil Terrence Pierce was arrested for his alleged role, also charged with illegal use of a weapon. The May 23 shooting in the 1900 block of Legardy Street left Michael Hamilton dead and two other men wounded.

The investigation into the incident continues.
