SEC Expected To Sign New Deal With Independence Bowl

Big news for the Independence Bowl today. A rumored new agreement could bring a Southeastern Conference team to the annual game. KTBS reports that the 9th place team in the SEC may face off against the 6th place Atlantic Coast Conference selection. The site notes that there are still two more years left on the Mountain West Conference agreement, but Bowl execs are working on making changes to that agreement.
