Scott Martinez: ‘Lots of Positive Things Happening’ In North Louisiana [VIDEO]

Scott Martinez, President of the North Louisiana Economic Partnership, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the future of business and industry in our area, its current status and what's necessary to grow this part of the state.

Martinez says the economic outlook for the region isn't nearly as dismal as some claim, but that building the success of Shreveport and the entire Ark-La-Tex are intertwined.

Martinez tells KEEL listeners that the NLEP has focused its efforts on five major areas: Healthcare, higher education, oil and gas, manufacturing and administrative services.
