A Caddo School Board employee has been arrested for theft -- by using school board equipment and supplies to complete a personal job. The Caddo Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Antonio Johns is accused of using a school board truck to dump gravel purchased with school board funds at a private business. He's been booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges of theft over $1500 and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Sheriff's Investigator Terry Richardson says his investigation has revealed that Johns was hired to supply gravel for a new parking lot at a Mansfield Road construction site. He bought over $2400 worth of gravel and charged it to a school board account. But citizens who saw him deliver the gravel in a school board truck alerted the school board which, in turn, notified the sheriff's office.
