New Orleans assistant coach Joe Vitt tried to run down two car thieves this weekend, and ended up with a torn Achilles tendon an a broken wrist.

Vitt, who's been coaching in the NFL for more than thirty years, saw a man and woman attempting to break into his and a neighbor's car early Saturday morning.

The 61-year-old ran outside from his home and chased the pair for about two blocks before he fell, injuring his wrist and foot. The suspects remain at large.
