Following the bombing attack at the Boston Marathon on Monday, President Obama had reached out as soon as he could to Boston public officials. Senator Elizabeth Warren said he had "pledged his full support." However, Rush Limbaugh claimed President Obama is actually just trying to rally support for gun legislation.

"Obama is working the phones trying to whip up votes for the Toomey-Manchin-Schumer gun bill in the Senate,"  Limbaugh said.

Limbaugh added that the president is using the violent attack that happened Monday to further try and push the belief on law-abiding citizens that giving up firearms will make things safer for us in everyday life. The radio personality said he isn't convinced.

"People with criminal intent are not deterred, in large part, by laws, or by the existence of police forces," said Limbaugh.
