Routine bridge inspections coming up Monday will cause some traffic congestion in parts of Bossier and Caddo Parishes.

Here's the schedule for this week, courtesy of Louisiana DOTD:

Monday, June 20

The I-20 eastbound off-ramp bridge to I-220 westbound in Bossier Parish will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. All vehicles must detour I-20 to LA 157 to I-20 to I-220.

Tuesday, June 21

The I-20 eastbound off-ramp bridge to Pete Harris Drive in Caddo Parish, about a mile from the Greenwood Road exit, will be closed between 9 a.m. and noon. All vehicles must detour US 80 to Murphy St. to Pete Harris Dr.

The I-20 eastbound off-ramp bridge to I-49 southbound in Caddo Parish, about a mile from the Greenwood Road exit, will be closed from noon until 3 p.m. Vehicles must detour LA 3132 to I-49.

Wednesday, June 22

The right lane and off-ramp from I-20 East to Market Street in Shreveport will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The bridge is located about .3 mile east of the Line Ave. and Common Street exit. The lane closure will only allow vehicles 12 feet wide and smaller to pass through to Spring Street. No traffic will be able to pass through the ramp closure. The detour is Spring St. to Texas St. to Market St.

Thursday, June 23

One lane of the Spring Street bridge over Cross Bayou, about half-a-mile north of Texas Street, will be closed from 9 a.m. until noon. Only vehicles 14 feet wide or smaller will be able to pass through the inspection zone.

One lane of the Market Street bridge over Cross Bayou will be closed from noon until 3 p.m.

All of this work will be done weather permitting. We'll let you know if anything changes as we closer to when the work is scheduled to take place.
