Ronpak to Hold Shreveport Job Fair

A job fair is planned for Wednesday at LSU-Shreveport. Consumer-packaging manufacturer Ronpak plans to begin hiring next month for its temporary operation at the Port of Shreveport/Bossier while its new permanent plant is under construction. CEO Ron Sedley says he’s expecting a big turnout. The job fair takes place from 10am to 2pm this Wednesday in the University Center on the LSUS campus.
When Ronpak’s permanent plant is finished next year, it plans to employ a total of 175 people directly and estimates the plant will spin off about 500 indirect jobs in the community.
