The Robinson Film Center was in desperate need for new seats. Not having the money, they turned to the community and the results were amazing!

Not too long ago, Robinson Film Center was stuck with a problem. They needed new seats, which would cost $45,000, but they didn't have the money. Rather than taking out a loan, RFC decided to ask their fans and the community to help.

They decided to throw their name into the hat for the "Give for Good" campaign, organized by the Community Foundation of North Louisiana, which is a one day event for people in the SBC to donate money to their favorite local charity. The video above was their way of asking for donations.

The goal was $45,000. Donations from the May 6 campaign totaled $48,170.64. In addition, RFC came in second place in the total number of unique donors to their cause.

The new seats are expected to be installed by mid September.
