#RoadtoRio 2016 Summer Olympic Games By The Numbers

With the kick off of the Summer Olympic Games this Friday, we turned to WalletHub to take a look at the #RoadtoRio by the numbers!

It's no secret that I was hoping my friend Sydney Conley Elliott would make the US Equestrian team, but after seeing some of the conditions that our athletes are having to deal with, I'm kinda happy she's not there! Note that the oldest two athletes for Team USA are on the equestrian team, so there's still plenty of time for Sydney and my friend Julie Norman Shamberger to make the team!

Either way, we're sending lots of love and well wishes to Kendrick Farris, from Shreveport, LA, as he competes in weightlifting in his third Olympic games! BTW, the other two athletes from Louisiana competing are from Baton Rouge, LA.
