The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for help in two separate homicide investigations.

On November 20, 2015, deputies got a call from a citizen who reported an explosion, and discovered a burning Impala at Walden Ferry Road and Elysian Fields in Greenwood. A body found inside the vehicle was later identified as that of 21-year-old Darrien Jiles of Joplin Street in Shreveport.

On January 5, 2016, deputies and Vivian police officers were called to the 200 block of South Pecan to a report of a shooting. They found one man had been shot in the torso inside his home. The man, identified as 43-year-old J.D. Hill, was taken to North Caddo Hospital, where he later died.

Sheriff's detectives are hoping someone will come forward with information that will lead to the identification of the suspects in these murders. If you think you can help, call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or visit the agency's website to submit a tip.

Crime Stoppers is offering rewards of $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in each case.
