Registered Sex Offender Arrested

A Benton man has been arrested for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. According to the Bossier Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Dannie Ray Perkins admitted to detectives that he had sex with a 15-year-old girl six or seven times between November 27th and January 15th. Most of the occurrences took place at the girl's grandparents' home. Perkins is a registered sex offender who was convicted of sexual battery in 2008.
