The Red River is still on the rise and it's causing problems across the Arklatex. The river is expected to crest at 33 feet late next week. If that materializes, this would be the worst flood since 1990. Here's aerial footage of the river at Pecan Point.

TxDOT is currently monitoring U.S. 259 & Highway 8 bridges. They will likely have to closed due to the approaches flooding in the coming days. Here is video of Pecan Point at 11:30 a.m. today at 32.8 feet. Forecast to go to 34.3 feet. See http://wp.me/p4s3Ba-3mu for more information.
