Red River Flooding Continues in Shreveport-Bossier

A flood warning continues for the Red River at Coushatta.

The stage on the Red River at Coushatta is at 31.7 feet. Flood stage is 31 feet. Minor flooding is occurring. The river will continue to rise to nearly 32 feet on Wednesday. Severe backwater flooding occurs at Loggy Bayou and upstream.

The Red River at Shreveport is at 28.6 feet and is expected to crest at 29.5 feet by Tuesday, May 26th. Flood stage at Shreveport is 30 feet. Here's a look at the River at the Stoner Park:
