Bossier sheriff's detectives are investigating a burglary that happened early this morning at a casino in south Bossier.

Investigators are looking for the person or people who broke into Red River Casino in the 7900 block of Barksdale Boulevard at around 1:30 this morning and made off with an unknown amount of cash. The business had closed about an hour earlier.

Red River Casino is one of three businesses in the Red River Travel Plaza. The others are Murrell's Restaurant and Handi-Mart convenience store. All three businesses had closed for the evening, with the casino closing last at around 12:30 a.m.

According to the sheriff's office, back in November 2014, two men committed a strong-armed robbery of a female clerk at the same casino and stole an undisclosed amount of money. Detectives continue to seek the two male suspects responsible for that crime.

Anyone with information about this morning's burglary is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100 or the Bossier Sheriff's Office at 318-965-2203.
