Red Kettles Meet Blue Uniforms

Shreveport firefighters will be out tomorrow (Thurs) raising money.  But they won't be shaking their boots for MD -- they'll be ringing bells and staffing the big red kettles for the Salvation Army.  You'll find them at all four Shreveport Wal-Mart stores as well as Sam's Club and the Kroger store on Youree Drive from ten until six tomorrow.  Not only is this an effort to help raise money for the Salvation Army -- it's also an effort to promote more volunteerism in the community.
