Using the most recent Wall Street data, InsideGov ranked the U.S. presidents by net worth, relying primarily on historical records to value each president’s assets and adjusted all numbers for inflation. Factors include income, land and property, inheritance, and book royalties. Here are the Top Ten Wealthiest Presidents, in 2015 dollars:

9) Franklin Roosevelt $60 million

8) Herbert Hoover $75 million

7) Lyndon Johnson $98 million

6) James Madison $101 million

5) Andrew Jackson $119 million

4) Theodore Roosevelt $125 million

3) Thomas Jefferson $212 million

2) George Washington $525 million

1) John F. Kennedy $1 billion
